Conducting an audit remotely presents both potential opportunities and challenges. The Auditor and Auditee should evaluate the overarching safety, environmental, and economic benefits and risks to achieve the audit objectives. The Auditor and Auditee should also consider the expectations of stakeholders and the effective use of resources. Remote audit activities should be planned accordingly, and any limitations should be clearly documented.
