This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2017. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) alignment to IEC 60704-1:2021, b) change of the position of the test sample in the test enclosure (aligned to IEC 60704 1:2021), c) detergent changed (aligned to IEC 60436:2025). This International Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with the fourth edition of IEC 60704-1:2021.
