It specifies general safety requirements for equipment intended to be used in educational establishments by persons between the age of 3 years and the age of 16 years under the supervision of a responsible body. This first edition cancels and replaces IEC TS 62850, published in 2013. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to IEC TS 62850: a) marking and documentation requirements; b) stability and handling requirements.
