[中文适用范围]： 本国际标准定义了用于请求工具（招标阶段）和订购工具时使用的注射模具的描述和规范。该国际标准提供了材料获取、设备、注射模具结构设计（包括工具表面）的数据。该规范还包含了与机器特定数据、操作类型和保修有关的信息。本国际标准不适用于压缩模具和压铸模。 [外文原描述]： ISO 16916:2016 defines the description and specification of injection moulds to be used when requesting tools (stage of tender) and ordering tools. This International Standard gives data for material acquisition, equipment, structural design of injection moulds including the surfaces of the tool. Information relating to machine-specific data, types of operation and warranty is also contained in this specification sheet. ISO 16916:2016 does not apply to compression moulds and die casting dies.
