The tests are used to investigate the following: hydraulic properties of the rock mass, which are mainly governed by discontinuities; absorption capacity of the rock mass; tightness of the rock mass; effectiveness of grouting; geomechanical behaviour, e.g. hydrofracturing, hydrojacking.
