This 70th edition of the JAS is a small contribution to the industry that the American Petroleum Institute has represented faithfully since 1919. As stakeholders in the domestic oil and gas industry, including the approximately 600 API member companies, plan their future business activities, we hope the JAS serves as a resource allowing them to better meet the challenges of the future.
